About
I started my training in 2019 with Trident Equine Dental School, passing my category two qualification with WWAED in 2022. I have also passed my stall leaders exam with Trident, proving my competence to teach aspiring EDTs. I return to Trident every year to teach students and have my work checked by my peers, maintaining my work to the highest standard.
I attended regular CPD, to stay up to date, with the latest developments, in the equine dental industry. Attending both theory based seminars and practical CPD days.
I specialise in optimising biomechanics, improving ridden performance, through correct incisor to molar balance and occlusion. Taking a whole horse approach to my work. Alongside routine dentals and remedial work.
Equine welfare is a huge passion of mine. Through having horses and competing for much of my life, I\'ve learnt to have a calm, understanding approach, when handling horses. I understand the importance of working collaboratively, with vets and owners so we can collectively raise the standards of equine welfare.
I currently own two horses myself - Dusty, a chestnut ISH, and Pea, a spicy dark Bay ex-racer.
