My career in equine dentistry began in 2019 after training at the Academy of Equine Dentistry in Idaho, USA. Since then, I’ve continued to develop my knowledge and experience, gaining both Category 1 and Category 2 qualifications.

Based in Cleveland, I travel throughout North Yorkshire, Cleveland, County Durham and Northumberland, working with everything from youngsters and family ponies to hunters and high-level competition horses.

For me, good dentistry is about much more than simply carrying out a routine rasp. I enjoy understanding each horse as an individual, identifying developing problems and creating a long-term approach to their dental care. I have a particular interest in corrective and more challenging cases, and take great pride in seeing the difference that good dental care can make to a horse’s comfort, way of going and overall wellbeing.
