My passion for horses started at an early age. Growing up riding horses I enjoyed a successful children’s and junior’s show jumping career.
I started practicing equine dentistry in 2007. Originally from South Africa I partook in a 2 year apprenticeship and a further 3 years training and sub contracting to a number of well respected equine dentists.
In 2012 I moved to Northern Ireland where I have been happily treating a large variety of horses, ponies and donkey, ranging from school ponies through to top level competition horses competing at an international level and everything in between.
I am a full member of the WWAED and have completed categories 1 &2 qualification. I regularly partake in continuous professional development courses to further my education and stay up to date with the latest developments in equine dentistry with the goal of staying at the top of my game in my professional field. I work in close conjunction with some of the top Veterinary professionals in my area specialising in advanced equine dental procedures.
Competent horsemanship is one of my main aims and I constantly strive to learn more and understand these majestic animals to the best of my abilities. I believe when it comes to horses and the understanding of them there is always more to be learnt and I am always open to what more they can teach me. I feel privileged to be fulfilling my lifelong dream of having a career working with horses, could there be anything better.
